A Taste of the Boba Tea Experience

You may or may not have heard of the infamous tea drink called Boba Tea or otherwise known as Bubble Tea. This lovely and mouth savoring drink is originated from a Taiwanese tea-based drink that come in all kinds of tea and milk flavors. They also have an assortment of toppings that you can add to your fruitful drink such as chewy tapioca balls, popping boba, fruit jelly, and more. These are all optional as well. As I continue my journey of tasting different types of Boba tea, here are just some of few selections that my taste buds have experienced specifically from the Boba spot, TeaDo.

1. Cool Blue Raspberry

This is one of the most recent ones that I have tried out and by recent I mean just a few days ago. The name already describes the taste for you, where you get a hint of the blue flavored slushy brand-ICEE- that is old at the movies or your nearest seven eleven. This one is different though, it tasted as if it has a small amount of milk, which is shockingly a good combination. I also added in Lychee jelly and that made it even better because it was like having a slushie and jello all in one. I know it may sound weird, but on Doja cat level this was definitely a moooooooooove.

Rating: This is definitely 5 out of 5 stars.

2. Passion Fruit Smoothie

Now if you don’t know where to start off, I definitely recommended this drink. Even Drake made a song about this drink, ok maybe not the drink, but atleast the fruit. The passion fruit flavor is out of this world, that it keeps your taste buds dancing. This bright yellow smoothie will just light you up, that’s if you like really fruity drinks. I do advise that if you don’t like sweet flavors or seeds from fruit, then you might stray away from it until your ready for a new exotic experience. The drink that gives so much passion, you can say that it’s moooooooving you towards the right way.

Rating: Can’t believe it, but this is also another 5 out of 5 stars!

3. Strawberry

Strawberry was a new kind of experience for me. Let’s just say that it was a one-time thing and I will never go back to it again. I was sort of iffy on this one from the beginning, my mind was telling me no, but my body was telling me yes just like the R. Kelly song. I want to start off with how it tasted, it was a bland kind of strawberry savor and then it just went down hill all from there. I now had to drink it because I spent my money on it and the damage was done. As I continued to swallow the little strawberry bits in the Boba, it was at that moment that I knew I would never purchase this again. All I can say is booooooooo, I’m not in the mooooooddd.

Rating: I’m giving this 1 star and I’m being nice about it.

4. Vanilla Milk

Who doesn’t like classic vanilla? I know I do. This one is like drinking ice coffee, without the coffee. It is absolutely wonderful, I would be mindful that it contains dairy and if you’re lactose intolerant like me, then you might just want to take the chance. Vanilla milk is one of my favorite loves when it comes to bubble tea and it could just be yours too! I’m not a really big fan of dark coffee and this was just right. So why not try this classic vanilla special because it is a treat and since this actually has dairy, I guess it would be appropriate to give it a big moooooooooo.

Rating: Simple, 5 out 5 stars again.

5. Coconut Smoothie

Coconut is one of those things people love or hate. I personally think coconut is fantastic, except for coconut water. Even though this seems like it could be a strong flavor, it’s not. There is some sort of balance where it’s not bland, but also not too sweet of coconut taste. Since I love coconut, it is something that I would prefer to get every once in a while. If you’re looking for something of a balance, this something worth trying for. So start moooooving, if you want some of that coconut.

Rating: It did ok in my taste buds, so it’s reaching to 3 out 5 stars.

Boba has been a new and fruity experience for me, with all these flavors and toppings, I think it’s time for you to start tasting some of these or some of your own.
