Welcome to the Arts Section!

Welcome to the Arts section of Atlas Magazine! Here, we will strive to give readers as complete and extensive coverage as we can, and perhaps one of the best things to look forward to in this section is the variety of topics. Arts is an umbrella term that will encompass music, books, arts & crafts, dance, television, games, and anything else that deserves coverage. Together, the Arts staff will unveil to our readers not only familiar artists, shows, and media, but also the best of the best within the unfamiliar. Our goal will be to dig deeper and present new faces, new venues, and new ideas.

The first few issues are some of the most important for any new publication, and I can’t wait to have a part in Atlas Magazine right from the beginning. I’m looking forward to working with a staff of dedicated writers and photographers, capturing life at Emerson. It may not always be easy, but it will be an experience I can use for the rest of my career.

Arts Co-Editor,
Maureen McDermott

I am so excited to be Atlas Magazine’s Arts Co-Editor! I think Atlas has a great vision, one that will be accessible to every Emerson student, whether they’re a TV kid, a WLP, or an experimental media major. Along with the rest of the staff, I’m excited to be a part of something brand new on campus.

Arts Co-Editor,
Regina Mogilevskaya
